So… methinks to myself, what could be better than spending the day at a beautiful winery in Malibu on a fine, spring Sunday? Well, piling on all kinds of extravagant extras to be sure!
This fantastically indulgent day began as the brainchild of “Quintessentially”, the worlds leading bespoke lifestyle concierge service. Quintessentially recently has partnered with BMW to provide the ultimate test drive program. If you’re in the market for a car, Quintessentially will deliver your BMW vehicle of choice to your home to test drive for three days, and they’re offering “aggressive incentives” to buy (which is code for great discounts!). So, in celebration of this partnership, Quintessentially decided to throw together a little celebration of sorts, and chose the perfect LA location to show off their sexy fleet of Beemers, the Malibu Wine Safari Ranch.
This beautiful vineyard, including the 1000 acre Saddlerock Ranch, is home to the most photographed celebs! Everything from camel, llama and water buffalo to alpaca and zebra, with its most famous resident being Stanley the giraffe.
Many of their exotic animals are straight out of the movies and into retirement at the Ranch. Their classic safari trucks drove us to all the most lovely spots to feed the animals and stop for delicious wine tastings gourmet snacks and hors d’oeuvres. There are even Chumash Indian Cave paintings on the property to explore!
But they didn’t stop there, Quintessentially amped it up a few notches and called in the big blades! They flew us into the Saddlerock ranch via the winged version of Uber. Blade Helicopters “makes your travel as fun as your destination!” They’ve got the short distance aviation market cornered, with charters on both coasts. For instance, they can fly you to any concert or sporting event in downtown LA. Seriously, I can’t tell you how often I’ve been trapped and despondent in LA traffic and dreamed of helicoptering everywhere instead, #TravelGoals! Blade flew us in and out of the event in lofty luxury and even served us rosé in flight-proof sippy cups.
Wine, wings and weather completed with hot cars, exotic animals, elite service and tasty bites- it all made for a one of a kind experience and the perfect super lux girls day!
