Lake Como, the third largest lake in Italy, is a popular destinations for tourists as well as seasoned travelers alike. Villa Concetta is perched above the lake and the village offering luxury accommodations as well as sweeping views of the area in a gorgeous, private setting. Built in 1911 and fully restored in 2012, the villa offers all the amenities including six bedrooms offering a total guest capacity of 11. You will find six ensuite bathrooms and a half bath, a private pool, air conditioning, fireplaces, outdoor showers, entertainment systems, wifi, and more.

From the villa, one can see across from the headland of Bellagio to the north pre-Alps and as far as Nesso to the south. Just in front of the villa is the classic Sisinnio church. This iconic structure has been represented in a Winston Churchill watercolour, painted from the garden of Villa Concetta.

While not completely private, this condo in the Riviera Oleandra villa is so spacious and features a huge, private, sea view terrace. This villa condo sleeps six and has three bedrooms and three bathrooms as well as many other amenities including air conditioning and a pool.

The villa, surrounded by meticulously manicured lawns, blossoming greenery and scenic walkways makes for a garden oasis. From a gated entry, steep stone staircases carved into a sheer cliff descend to a couple of sunbathing platforms amid the rocky shore. Due to the rocks and current, only strong swimmers should access the sea from this point. For everyone else, we recommend the estate’s shared swimming pool, open mid-May through mid-September that’s filled with water piped in directly from the sea. The neighboring towns of Bogliasco and Recco, each within a few minutes’ drive also offer picturesque, beach clubs set on small pebbly coves and inlets.

The terrace is large and spacious, complete with sunbeds, and the courtyard has plenty of outdoor furniture perfect for eating outside or for relaxing and enjoying the view. The villa is all on one floor and boasts a well-kept, modern interior. The living room is large and welcoming, with large windows, a video archive and a bookcase full of books, sofas and a flat screen satellite TV.
