One of the world’s most iconic and recognizable resort hotels, the Atlantis, Palm Island, is situated on a palm-tree-shaped artificial island just off Dubai’s Jumeira coast. The Atlantis opened in 2008 to rave reviews and quickly became a much sought-after destination for the world traveler. Now, nine years later, the hotel is being renovated to improve upon what is already an undeniably remarkable luxury experience.
Beaches and Water Parks

The resort boasts a mile of beach access and views of the Arabian Gulf. The Atlantis has its own water park, the Aquaventure, but is also less than 10 miles from Wild Wadi Water Park. The hotel has more than 1,500 guest rooms spread across two wings. The East and West Towers are linked by the Royal Bridge Suite. The hotel’s adjoining beach, Nasimi Beach, serves as a venue for concerts and other events. Feeling like something more relaxing? Visit the salon or the spa (or even the gym), before hitting the nightclub up later (if you’re traveling with the little ones, there’s a kids’ club, too).
Luxury Accommodations

Known also for its world-class service, the rooms of the Atlantis are equipped with flat screens, complimentary wifi, and mini bar. Scattered among the loveliest of standard rooms are lavish suites with sitting areas. Some of these suites also include terraces, whirlpool baths and living rooms. For the more adventurous, they also have some upgrades that include floor to ceiling windows with underwater views!
Amazing Restaurants

The accommodations are luxurious, the entertainment is fun, but the food, the food! Wake up to a complimentary breakfast and then choose from one of the 23, yes twenty-three, restaurants on site. The hotel houses Ossiano (pictured), Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen & Bar, Seafire Steakhouse, TBJ for burgers, Asia Republic, Nobu, and more. You may want to have an early dinner and a late dinner just to be able to sample all the restaurants.
